Wouldn't the best example of "learning virtue" be that of recollection? It's not something you learn or practice so much as it is something that is drawn out/ recalled? It's a sort of "birthing" - (w/ Socrates as the Midwife in the dialogues)?
Or like his "Saving tale"?
